Hello Fairgrieve families!

As we approach the middle of August, We at Fairgrieve Elementary School want to officially welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year! We can’t wait to feel the energy back in our hallways and hear the laughter and joy of our students once again.

Here are a few quick updates to help us hit the ground running:

Thursday (8/20) Bus Information will be sent via Parent Square from the Transportation Dept.
Monday (8/24) SchoolTool Parent Access opens
Tuesday 8/25) Popsicles with the Principal, 5 to 6 pm at the FGE Courtyard
Wednesday (8/26) Stuff-A-Bus Event (4:00-7:00)
Thursday (9/3) UPK & Kindergarten Orientation (9:00-10:00)

Tuesday (9/8) BoE Mtg, 6-8pm at Ed Ctr
Tuesday (9/15) FGE PTG Mtg. (5:00-6:00) in the FGE LMC
Thursday (9/17) US Constitution Day

Monday (9/29) - Friday (10/2) FGE's Book Fair Week
Wednesday (9/30) FGE Open House, 5 to 6:30pm

FGE Permanent Parent Drop-Off & Pick-Up

If you wish to pick up your child on a regular basis call the FGE Main Office to update your information.

Parent Pick-Up will begin at 3:15pm.

Parent Pick-Up: Important Safety Requests

We ask that you please adhere to the following safety requests:

Remain in your vehicle - Please refrain from getting out of your vehicle at any time. Our qualified staff will help to unbuckle your child as needed and walk them to the sidewalk.
Utilize the Pick-Up Loop - Please ensure you are picking up your child in the safety loop. Children will not be escorted to the road or the parking lot.

We greatly appreciate your assistance with ensuring a SAFE & EFFICIENT system!

FCSD transportation Update...

Updated information on bus routes along with pick-up/drop-off times will be emailed via Parent Square from the Transportation Department on August 20th.

Please reach out directly to our transportation staff with questions or concerns @ 315-593-5526.

Stuff-A-Bus: School Supply Giveaway

Our annual Stuff-A-Bus event will take place at the Fulton War Memorial on Wednesday, August 26th from 4:00-7:00.

This event is open to all children who attend the Fulton City School District! This community event provides free resources to families including:

Backpacks
School Supplies
Clothing
Hair Cuts
Personal Hygiene Items
Clothing
Interactive Activities

School Breakfast & Lunch

We will once again be providing Free school breakfast and lunch to all students!

Our monthly School Menus can be found on our School Website.

Go to the "Departments" tab and click on "School Nutrition". There you will find a link to menus. Please note menus are slightly different from K-8 and 9-12.

FGE Safety Drills for the 26/27 School Year

As part of our annual safety training required for all schools, we will be conducting bus drills, fire drills and a lock-down drill in the first few weeks of school.

Practicing these procedures is essential to ensuring everyone knows what to do in a real emergency. Please speak with your child about the importance of these drills and help to alleviate any unnecessary worry. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for all students.
